GB Training has an extensive network of employers we work directly with to plug role gaps with suitable employees from across the region. We pride ourselves on the level of success we have in upskilling a new workforce with a variety of highly applicable work courses, allowing your new member of staff to hit the ground running.

We are funded through the local authority, meaning our employers pay no recruitment fees.

Murtala took an Adult Social Care employability course which he studied remotely during June. Murtala said; ‘Being provided with a range of online resources helped me throughout the course. GB Training helped me to secure a job.

Lorraine, who was previously a florist for a number of years, has worked hard to build up her skills, retrain and start a job in a new sector. Having never worked in care before, she has completed three qualifications with GB Training – a Certificate in Employability, an Award in Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Level 1.

Lorraine has used her new found confidence to secure a full-time job in care home – The Beeches in Rowley Regis.  “GB Training helped me every step of the way to achieve my goal and the tutors were always at the end of the phone, pushing me on”.


Kelly Pugh is the Learning and Development Advisor at Briggs Equipment and works closely with us to deliver training for their staff. They are a national distributor of forklift trucks, with their head office in Cannock, Staffordshire. Kelly says:

“GB Training has worked with Briggs Equipment since 2018, successfully delivering various programmes for us, most recently the Leadership and Management programmes to our employees of various roles within our business. The pandemic has presented a number of challenges and changes that the team at GB Training has adapted to and handled professionally, including remote learning methods.
