LEVEL 2 APPRENTICESHIP IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Administrator / business support assistant
The qualification includes several mandatory knowledge and competency units:
• Communication in a business environment
• Principles of providing administrative services
• Principles of business document production and information management
• Understand employer organisations
• Manage personal performance and development
• Develop working relationships with colleagues
Apprentices must also achieve level 1 English, maths and ICT functional skills where not already qualified to that level and will progress towards level 2 wherever possible.
The Apprenticeship can be delivered almost entirely on your premises by our expert staff, who will visit regularly to provide training, assessment & comprehensive feedback about progress made. Workshops (one day per month) will provide in-depth training enabling apprentices to gain a broad range of knowledge about the business administration functions and their role in supporting many businesses.
Non-levy paying employers
In order to attract government funding towards this Apprenticeship, employers who are not involved in the Apprenticeship levy are required to contribute towards the total cost of the Apprenticeship. For this Level 2 Apprenticeship the cost is £16 +VAT per month, per learner (12 months). GB Training can arrange payment frequencies to suit your needs (for example Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly).
Levy Paying Employers
Your digital voucher for this Apprenticeship will deduct a total of £2,000 from your pot. This will be in instalments, and depending when in the financial year the learner starts this could be deducted over 2 or possibly into 3 financial years.
